Pagequire Mac

Privacy Policy

Last updated 29 August 2026

Short version: the application does not collect anything. Your manuscripts and artwork never leave your computer. There is no account, no sign-in and no telemetry. This page explains the detail, including the website, which is different.

1. The application

Pagequire is a desktop application that runs entirely on your machine.

2. This website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare's privacy documentation for detail.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It does not track you across other websites, and it is not used for advertising. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

3. Buying

Checkout is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, which is the Merchant of Record and an independent controller of the data it collects. When you buy, Paddle collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details in order to take payment and meet tax obligations.

We never see or store your full payment card details. We receive your email address and name so we can issue and support your license. Paddle's own privacy policy governs their processing.

Paddle sets cookies necessary for checkout to function.

4. Email

Mail to hello@pagequire.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox we control, so that message and your address pass through Cloudflare and our mail provider. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the issue.

4a. The update list

If you give us your email address on the signup form, we store that address, the date, which page it came from, and a shortened one-way hash of your IP address. The hash is there so we can show the address was really typed in by someone; it is not reversible and we cannot get your IP address back out of it. Nothing else is kept. It is all held in Cloudflare Workers KV, on the same infrastructure as the rest of this site.

We use it for one thing: to tell you when Pagequire changes — a Windows build, new trim sizes, a printer specification change. No newsletter, no marketing from anyone else, and the list is never sold or shared.

Every email we send from it will carry an unsubscribe link, and it takes one click. When you unsubscribe we keep a record that you did, so that we do not add you back or email you by accident — that record is the only reason we hold it. If you would rather we deleted your entry altogether, write to hello@pagequire.com and we will.

Downloading Pagequire does not require an email address, and never will.

5. What we hold, and for how long

Email address from the update listTell you when Pagequire changesUntil you unsubscribe, then kept only to keep you off the list — deleted entirely on request

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. This includes rights under the UK and EU GDPR and, for California residents, the CCPA/CPRA. Write to hello@pagequire.com and we will respond within the period the law allows.

Note that a deletion request may end our ability to support or reissue your license.

7. Children

Pagequire is a professional tool sold to adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. International transfers

Our service providers, including Paddle and Cloudflare, may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards their own terms describe.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.

10. Who we are, and how to reach us

Pagequire is operated as a sole proprietorship in California, United States. The proprietor is the data controller for the limited processing described above, and their full legal name and a postal address are available on request to any individual exercising their data protection rights, or to any regulator.

Email hello@pagequire.com. This is a business run by one person and operated entirely online, so email is the contact method for every purpose, including privacy rights requests. Under the CCPA regulations, a business that operates exclusively online and has a direct relationship with the consumer may designate an email address for such requests.

If you have a legal or regulatory need for a postal address, ask by email and we will provide one. It is not published here for the personal safety of a household, not to be difficult to reach.
